Interception

In my artwork I try to tell stories about the human condition. I like to show resiliency in the face of adversity. The painting Interception, it tells the story of a woman who was left after 20 years of marriage. The decision wasn’t hers. The relationship is dead, but she still waters it due to her great love. It is a barren wasteland, but flowers are now growing from love, and there is still a connection to her past within her mind as the octopus is abstractly showing.
